Systems software engineer — Rust, Windows internals, high-load services
I build the parts of software that have to keep working under pressure: high-load distributed services, Windows kernel-level components, and security tooling. For the past 8+ years I have worked in the information-security industry — my file-analysis and malware-sandbox systems run in production at major financial organizations and government agencies, processing hundreds of thousands of files and millions of monitoring requests per day.
My current language of choice is Rust, with deep C#/.NET and C/C++ background. I care about honest architecture — domain-driven design inside hexagonal boundaries, plugin kernels — and about testing that actually proves something: property-based, chaos, and fuzz suites alongside ordinary unit tests.
Windows malware-detonation sandbox agent: ETW telemetry, NATS reporting, reboot-surviving multi-session analysis. DDD inside a hexagonal microkernel; named-pipe IPC sustaining millions of events per second, with a restrictive DACL; 144 tests including property-based, chaos, and fuzz suites, plus a companion WDM kernel driver.
Multi-tenant Discord bot framework on a platform-agnostic microkernel: plugins as fault-isolated capabilities, per-guild authorization, and an LLM chat engine with streaming, context compaction, and vision. 692 tests, zero unsafe.
Open-source server mod framework for the game Rust (Legacy) — author. Magma-compatible, multi-language plugin API (C#, Python, Lua), a two-pass IL patcher for the game assembly, and Magma/Oxide hook compatibility; includes a server-side anticheat module. Adopted by third-party plugin developers.
A long-running game tooling laboratory: CV-driven bots (screen capture → template matching → input) maintained across three games for up to six years; tooltip-OCR loot automation for Diablo 4; input clickers for Battlefield respawns and vehicles; memory-level camera tooling; and dev tooling for Terraria and Cultures — alongside 15 published RimWorld mods and a Harmony feature framework for Valheim.
Small sharp Win32 utilities in Rust — launching processes as SYSTEM via LSASS token duplication, window-layout management, API-hooking sensor libraries built on static detours.
Declarative multi-host NixOS (flakes, home-manager, custom feature modules, distributed builds) and a hardened reverse-SSH tunnel stack: Dockerized sshd with least-privilege forwarding, autossh, stunnel TLS camouflage.
